Aliki is an eskimo girl with a team of dogs crossing the ice. When she stops and dismounts her sled, the dog team floats away on a piece of ice. Aliki sees an igloo and enters. It is the house of the Snow Bear family, who has gone for a walk. Aliki tries some porridge, puts on Baby Bear’s boots, and climbs into his warm bed to fall asleep. Meanwhile, the Bears rescue Aliki’s dogs, before they go home to find her sleeping in Baby bear’s bed. She awakens to the sight of three bears gazing down at her. Quickly, she runs out of the igloo and into her sled. As she rushes away, she waves good bye to the Snow Bears.
